Reka was a British company started by C.W. Baker that produced hollow-cast toy soldiers, among other toys and goods, from 1908 until it was sold in 1932. Initally, they sold German-made figures but later switched to local production in England. Reka’s molds were bought by Crescent Toys in 1932 which continued to produce some of their more popular items while phasing out the rest. The brand name “Reka” is the last four letters of the founder’s surname, Baker, reversed.
